Buying American the way of eagles
Our Buy American Mention of the Week!
by Roger Simmermaker
November 17, 2009

Bald Eagles were removed from the endangered species list in June 2007 because their population recovered, even though the protections under the Eagle Act continue to apply.

It's arguable that the ability to buy American may be on the endangered species list as well, but in any case we need to do what we can to either get it off that list or keep it off that list, depending on your perspective.

Buying American these days is actually easier than you think, and one website that has made it easier to buy American for the ladies out there (and the men who love them) by offering very attractive, high-quality shirts for a great price is www.eagles-way.com.

At Eagle's Way (www.eagles-way.com) you'll find a small but nice selection of American-made ladies apparel. They're not only all American made, but they're all cotton jeweled as well. All shirts available have jewel decorations. And if you order right now, you'll get free shipping with your order no matter how big or how small.

There are currently five styles of ladies tops to choose from. Each top is embellished with sparkly "crystals" and they machine wash well. When you want to look classy, yet dress casual and feel comfortable at the same time, these tops should be at the top of every lady's shopping list (especially this time of year).

All styles are made by Cactus Fashion, and are 100 percent made in the USA with 100 percent American-grown cotton. So not only will you feel comfortable with the soft cotton fabric against your skin, you'll feel comfortable knowing these classy styles are created close to home rather than in some distant communist regime with cotton from who knows where.

Eagle's Way's (www.eagles-way.com) mission is to provide an online retail shop where the buyer can be assured they are purchasing quality American-made ladies merchandise. And the owners of Eagle's Way will be personally handling any orders or inquiries you may have by email or by telephone, so you can be confident you won't be connecting to some offshore location when you call or write.

All five styles are similar in the sense that they are fashionable for any lady that values classy quality at a nice price. Each style is priced at $35.00 and is sent via the US Postal Service.

You can choose from the Eagle's Way Angel three quarter sleeve T which features an Angel motif on a calming, dark blue background with sparkly "rhinestones."

You can also browse their beautiful butterfly and floral design inspired by nature. It's a 100 percent (of course) cotton t-shirt with small sparkling rhinestones on the front with contrasting overlock stitching at the neckline.

Also available is their French Cafe three quarter sleeve T. It's a cream color v neck with ruffled neck and sleeves by Cactus Fashion and made in the USA.

For a fashionable T with a more patriotic flair, how about the Patriotic three quarter sleeve T, inspired by the flag of the United States of America? This t-shirt will enable you to show your patriotic side with class, and the 100 percent U.S.-grown cotton will keep you comfortable. The shirt features small sparkling rhinestones on the front with contrasting overlock stitching at the neckline.

Another patriotic choice would be the new America three quarter sleeve T, which features an American Eagle and Flag motif on a light blue background with sparkly "rhinestones."

Ladies know as well as men that we need to keep as much manufacturing in America as possible in every industry, and the apparel industry is certainly no exception. I was thinking to myself as I saw the Eagle's Way patriotic T for the first time how today's free trade policies would have likely put Betsy Ross and all her seamstresses out of a job had that thinking prevailed back then.

Let's get back to the ideas, values, and standards that made this country great in the beginning. Back then, it was a patriotic standard that our manufactured goods were made close to home. We should strive again today to make patriotism standard in our purchases as consumers, and one of the best ways to do that is by shopping at patriotic online stores like Eagle's Way (www.eagles-way.com).
