A better Buy American strategy
Our Buy American Mention of the Week!
by Roger Simmermaker

If you have ever been frustrated trying to find American-made clothing in some of America's big department stores or retail chains, you have felt the same frustration thousands of other Americans have felt who want to find and buy American apparel, but aren't sure how to do it.

The answer to the problem is that we need a better strategy since about 97 percent of all clothing sold in America is imported, and a big part of choosing a better strategy is patronizing All American Clothing, a company that makes up part of that three percent of the apparel that is actually made in the United States.

By visiting www.AllAmericanClothing.com, you won't have to worry about selecting anything that is imported, or ordering apparel that uses imported cotton or fabric. The All American Clothing Company offers only 100% American-made apparel with 100% American-grown cotton. Absolutely nothing is imported, right down to the zippers on their all-American jeans.

I've known about this company for a long, long time. I've bought several of their products. It's always great to go back and revisit their website because it seems they are always adding something new and interesting. It's great to know that focusing your apparel purchases on those that are American-made doesn't have to mean limiting your choices.

All American Clothing offers regular denim jeans, carpenter jeans, carpenter shorts, gusset jeans, ladies jeans, khaki pants, heavy-duty belts, tee shirts, polo shirts, stylish vests, ladies shirts, sweatshirts, denim shirts, denim jackets, hooded pullovers, rain jackets, and Wigwam brand socks.

The humble beginning of this company is very compelling. Owner Lawson Nickol used to work for a company that began producing all of their apparel in America, but that company decided to start outsourcing to Mexico. When Lawson found out, he called in his resignation the very next day.

He then started his own company with a hope and a dream that one day he could build a truly American business that didn't compromise, didn't outsource, and was true to the Buy American cause. That company is the All American Clothing Company.

The early days weren't easy. Lawson had no income the first year, counted on his family as the only employees of the company, and relied on family savings to keep the company going.

Today, he is grateful on a daily basis that he is able to thank his customers and employees for the dream that became a reality; a dream to create jobs for other Americans and make American apparel for the American people. It's not something that many other companies do, and few have the same pride in the "Made in USA" label and believe in the integrity of that label like Lawson Nickol of All American Clothing does.

If you like to buy from companies that make 100 percent of their goods in the USA and truly have a patriotic belief behind what they are doing, you'll be happy to buy from All American Clothing.

Everyone buys apparel, but not everyone knows how to avoid the huge percentage that is imported. When you shop for apparel, don't make the same choices most other Americans are unfortunately making. Make the American choice by choosing www.AllAmericanClothing.com.
