Christmas is not only a special time of the year to give to your loved ones and
those on your Christmas list. It's also a special opportunity to give and help
guarantee prosperity to other Americans you don't know and who aren't on your
Christmas list.
The best way to guarantee prosperity for Christmas present and Christmas future
is to put American-made products under your Christmas tree this year.
If you're running out of ideas, or are just tired of running to the store only
to find items made in other countries, here are a few ideas you may not have
considered:

2007, you can be sure that this special offer won't be repeated anytime soon.

A BIG foreign takeover occurred when Mattel's Wham-O got acquired by Hong
Kong-based distributor this past January (according to the Wall Street
Journal). Wham-O makes vintage toys like the Frisbee (made in China), Tracball (made in China), Hula Hoop, Superball, Boogie Board, Hacky Sack, Silly String and
Water Wiggle. I'm not sure where the other toys (Hula Hoop, etc) are made, but
the Wall Street Journal article highlighted that the new company has five
Chinese factories and 25,000 Chinese workers. An American alternative to the
Hong Kong-owned Hula Hoop would be the American-made Wave Hoop by
American-owned Maui Toys, based in Youngstown, OH.
LEGO is Denmark-owned and made in China as well.
Almost all puzzles are made in USA.
Other toys and games ideas:
NordicTrack treadmills are made in USA (I own one)
